January 27, 2015: Out of Time

(editor's note: this was so full of typos, it was hilarious. She started this letter after her hour was up, and typed super fast and had no time to fix anything. Very funny after hearing her complain about her brothers' letters.)

Okay, I'm about half an hour over my time on the computer because I was replying to e-mails from last week and still didn't get to them all. I hope that you all know that I love you.

This week was actually really hard for me. I'm still happy and enjoying most of my time here. It is really tough never having alone time or people to talk to, but I really, really, really enjoy getting to know my district and my maestros. I've been learning a lot and I've been working on my patience. I've had to hold my tongue a lot with my companion, but I'm trying to love. It's hard NEVER having a break from my companion to just think by myself or take a walk...but I know that I was put in this companionship for a reason and there are lessons I need to learn and characteristics that I need to develop. I love my companion and her desire to be out here and I feel like she will be at that point with me too... This has been a humbling experience already, it really has. I've felt really alone sometimes, but what a gift it is to be able to talk to Heavenly Father and feel the Savior’s love. My Spanish is coming along great. I love the language and the people. Boy oh boy I love the people here! The staff are all so nice. I have some great experiences to tell you about and some maybe not so great experiences, but experiences that I have learned from and grown. It's hard, but I still love it here! And I'm sure it will only get better. I trust in the Lord and his experiences he wants me to have.

Okay, I really have to go to the bathroom and I might miss lunch. I love you!

I’ll have to write about this week tonight for you guys and just type it up really fast next week so Dad and mom and all of you can hear the details.

Sorry about the crazy typos. (Which Mom edited)  I'm not supposed to be on the computer anymore. I love you!

I can't wait to write next week! Bye!
Love,

Hermana Olson

Romans 5:3-5 I really like that. It’s a happy scripture for me and comforting. I just LOVE THE GOSPEL

Mom, I hope your wrist gets better, I love you! And I love my little brothers A LOT

Answers to Dad’s questions:
Where is your companion going?  Iowa, Des Moines mission
What is your district like? 10 missionaries in my district. 6 elders 4 sisters. It's irregular to have more than one companionship of sisters, but we do. :)
They are ALL super awesome and our district really has an awesome bond. E. Klingler and Truman are also going to Osorno.

We are the only 3 missionaries of all the missionaries that got here with us and last week going out of the states! The president said that that is super strange. The rest of my district is going to Iowa except for E. Reed who is going to Colorado Springs.
